This 7,800 sq ft full custom Modern Prairie estate sits on 9 private acres along Lutz Lake Fern Road in Odessa, Florida. This was the second custom home we built for these homeowners, after previously building and selling their first home together. We also had the opportunity to assist as their real estate broker in locating and purchasing this property, helping them secure the perfect setting to build their next chapter.

The homeowners came to us with a clear vision—a one-story Modern Prairie home designed for both everyday living and frequent entertaining. One of the defining features of this home is the private guest wing, thoughtfully designed to give visiting family and friends a place to stay that feels completely their own. The wing includes three bedrooms, three bathrooms, a living room, laundry, its own arrival entry, and direct access to the pool area, allowing guests to enjoy the home without disrupting the main living spaces.

The main house is centered around a spacious, light-filled living area anchored by a gourmet kitchen with custom cabinetry, a large island, butler’s pantry, and a dedicated bar with a walk-in wine room. A dramatic foyer with oversized pivot doors opens into the home, creating a strong architectural statement while maintaining a warm, livable feel. The primary suite offers a private retreat with a luxury bath, expansive walk-in closets, and its own laundry. Additional spaces include a study, a fifth bedroom, and a large exercise room with floor-to-ceiling storefront windows that bring in natural light.

Outdoor living was just as important as the interior. The expansive pool and lanai area spans over 3,600 sq ft and was designed for both relaxation and entertaining, featuring a resort-style pool with sun shelves, spa, outdoor kitchen, and fireplace.

This home was designed from the ground up in close collaboration with the homeowners, reflecting a very specific architectural vision and the way they live and entertain.
